Before your Airbrush Tanning Session
Exfoliate your entire body, paying special attention to the extremely dry areas such as the knees, ankles, tops of feet and elbows as these tend to over absorb color.
Shave 12-24 hours prior if possible.
Remove deodorant and make up.
No perfumes or oils.
No moisturizers.
No jewelry.
Bring loose dark clothing to wear after your session.
You may wear a bathing suit, dark underwear or whatever you are comfortable in for your tanning session.
The bronzer washes out of most fabrics but to be sure try to wear something that you wouldn't mind staining.
After your Airbrush Tanning Session
Do not shower for a minimum of 4 hours although I recommend 8 hours for the maximum color!
No physical activity that may cause you to sweat.
First shower after 8 hours should be a light rinse with warm water only; no soaps or scrubs.
You may take a normal shower at least 14-24 hours after your session.
Avoid bar soaps for the length of your tan as they have higher ph levels which will cause your skin to dry and your tan to fade pre-maturely.
Begin moisturizing after your regular shower to assist in pro-longing the life of your tan.
Avoid long hot baths. Shower instead.
Avoid pro-longed periods in water, especially chlorinated pools. Salt water is ok but minimize water time.
